The work done to date to realign Mt. Hunger Road was mainly for tree removal and construction equipment access.
This work was done under a temporary access permit from the State of Vermont. The Town of Stockbridge is working on obtaining a permit from the State to allow the road section to be completed and become permanent.
Additional engineering work is needed to obtain the final permit. Once the permit is obtained, the remaining permanent work can be completed.
