Town Clerk
The Town Clerk, elected for a three-year term, takes minutes at town meetings; records, preserves, and certifies public records of the town; issues dog, marriage, and civil union licenses; runs the local elections; and maintains the list of registered voters.
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm, Friday: 8 am – 12 Noon

Town Clerk & Selectboard
Selectboard
The elected Selectboard consists of three members, 3 members serving for 3-year terms and. The Selectboard meets soon after Town Meeting each year to select a chair. The Selectboard is the town’s legislative body, enacting ordinances, regulations and policies, and is responsible for overall management of the town, including town property and personnel, annual planning for maintenance of town roads, and the annual town budget; and appointing most non-elected local officials.
The Selectboard meets on the first and third Thursday of every month. The regular meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and are held at the Stockbridge Town Clerk’s Office located at 1722 VT Route 100. The current Selectboard members are listed here:
