Earlier I posted a zoom link for the Special Meeting sheduled for tomorrow, and have had several calls inquiring on what the meeting is.     

Let me appologize for not putting more informaion in todays post.  

The Stockbridge Selectboard is holding a Special Town Meeting to ask the voters if they wish to move to a fiscal budget year from a calendar year.   The official warning is below.

 

Warning – SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

TOWN OF STOCKBRIDGE

December 11, 2025

 

Legal voters of the Town of Stockbridge, County of Windsor, State of Vermont, are hereby NOTIFIED and WARNED to MEET at the Union Meeting House located on Stockbridge Common on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:30pm, to transact the following matters:

 

Article 1: Does the town vote to move from a calendar year to a Fiscal Year budget cycle?

Article 2: Does the town vote to move from two annual property tax payments to 4 annual property tax payments?
